Online Order Refund & Incorrect Location Policy
At Lviv Croissants, all online orders are prepared at the location selected during checkout for pickup or delivery fulfillment. Because our food is made fresh to order, refund requests are evaluated carefully and are not automatically approved once preparation has begun.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- selecting the correct pickup or delivery location before placing an order;
- reviewing all order details during checkout;
- verifying the selected location before submitting payment.
Our ordering platform requires customers to confirm the selected location before completing checkout.
Refund & Cancellation Guidelines
1. Orders Before Preparation
If a customer contacts the store before food preparation has started, the store may, at its discretion:
- cancel the order;
- issue a refund;
- assist with placing a new order at the correct location.
2. Orders Already in Preparation
Once order preparation has started, refunds, cancellations, or modifications are not guaranteed.
Because food products are prepared specifically for each order and cannot be resold, stores reserve the right to:
- deny refund requests;
- issue partial refunds;
- provide store credit;
- offer a one-time courtesy accommodation.
Refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and may consider:
- preparation status of the order;
- timing of the request;
- operational impact on the store;
- prior order and refund history;
- suspected misuse or abuse of the refund process.
3. Completed Orders / Orders Ready for Pickup
Orders that have already been completed, marked ready for pickup, dispatched for delivery, or delivered are generally not eligible for refunds.
4. Incorrect Location Orders
Orders placed for the incorrect location remain the responsibility of the customer. While stores may attempt to assist when possible, refunds or transfers between locations are not guaranteed once preparation has started.
5. Delivery Orders
Delivery orders are especially difficult to modify or cancel once submitted into the preparation and delivery process. Refund requests for completed delivery orders may be denied unless a verified service issue is identified.
6. Repeated Refund Requests / Fraud Prevention
Lviv Croissants reserves the right to deny refund requests, restrict ordering access, or refuse future service in cases involving:
- repeated incorrect-location orders;
- excessive refund requests;
- suspected fraudulent activity;
- chargeback abuse;
- misuse of the ordering platform.
Chargebacks submitted for orders that were properly prepared and fulfilled may be disputed with supporting operational records.
Management Discretion
All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of store management and/or corporate support teams.
This policy is intended to maintain fairness for both guests and franchise locations while protecting stores from operational losses associated with prepared food orders.
